Christine ‘Tine’ Rogoll

Christine “Tine” Rogoll has more than two decades of experience in the film industry. For several years, she worked closely with Detlev Buck and, as an assistant director, was involved in many successful film and TV productions, such as *Knallhart*, *Die Vermessung der Welt*, and the *Bibi & Tina* series. Productions like *Black Death*, *Das schweigende Klassenzimmer*, and Lars Kraume’s ARD series *Die neue Zeit* were also part of her career before she moved on to directing herself.

Her feature debut, *Sachertorte*, marked her international breakthrough in 2022: the film had its world premiere at the Zurich Film Festival and was nominated for the Golden Eye Award and several ROMYs.

In recent years, she has directed additional films and series, including *Rosen und Reis*, *Plötzlich Schwester*, and *Liebe braucht Meer*.

*Mensch Mutti!* and *Ballonfieber* each premiered at the Ludwigshafen Film Festival and were nominated for the Rheingold Audience Award.

Tine Rogoll tells stories with precision, warmth, and a keen sense of her audience. Her directing combines comic timing with a sure sense of characters, relationships, and emotional nuance.
