I, Tonya

Tonya Harding (Margot Robbie) shot to fame as the first American female figure skater to land two triple Axels in competition – one of the sport’s toughest jumps. Yet her name will forever be associated with the ill-planned and amateurish attack on fellow competitor Nancy Kerrigan that was designed to take her archrival out of training and push Tonya to victory in the US Championships. Only it didn’t quite work out that way.

Darkly funny, I, TONYA tells the strange-but-true story of figure skater Tonya Harding, who became embroiled in one of the biggest and craziest scandals in sporting history. This black comedy takes a biting look at both her life and career in all of their unbridled glory.
